shinygetGot my grades back for my first semester and so far so good. I have a 3.0 (B in Art History and Anthropology, A in my Experimental Honors Course, and a C in Astronomy), which is exactly what I need to stay in the Honors College. I also got to finally spend some of my money instead of using it on housing and picked up Sonic Riders Zero Gravity (which I passed within like 24 hours of getting), Sonic and the Secret Rings, and Grim Grimoire. Almost got Phantom Brave, but I'll save that for another time.
I thought ZG would be hard, but after playing Riders, it was so easy. The CPUs don't always take the shortcuts and seem less inclined to be cheating bastards that pop out right behind you to ATTACK YOU IN THE FACE before passing you. It's fun to play 2P and even my little sister who normally could care less about these types of games got into it, though she's not very good at it.
And I have a party I'm going to soon, which will have the first FPS that I don't hate. I didn't know Left 4 Dead would be so much fun, fffff. I love the whole teamwork thing and killing all those special zombies mixed in with the regular ones. So fucking awesome.
WINTER BREAK UNTIL JANUARY 20TH, HELL YES. Over a month to chillax. Now if only it would stay warm for the entire break.

Smoker - grabs you long range with his tongue and an ally has to shoot it to save you.
Hunter - sneaks around and jumps out of fucking nowhere to pin you down and claw you, also have to be saved by an ally.
Boomer - big, fat one; spews bile on you that attracts zombies, when you kill it, it explodes bile on anyone nearby, too.
Tank - gigantic powerhouse of a zombie that makes your screen shake as it approaches and throws LOTS OF THINGS AT YOUR HEAD OH GOD.
Witch - worst of the bunch, you turn off your flashlight when you hear her (she is a sobbing zombie and you will hear her a long time before you find her) and for the most part, you will try to sneak by her without startling her. If you startle her by gunfire, staying near her too long, or with a bright light, she will murder whoever startled her before running away.
...As you can tell, I love this game.
