I can't. There are no warm fuzzies for my sadness.
Also, in our past threads, we've already been made wrong on one count, although it's not our fault. Apparently Burnie says now that Alpha always had a mechanical body. No word as far as I know on Tex. Anyway, him having an organic body is the only major inconsistency in the story, or something like that.
...If he always had a mechanical body, that could make it possible for Tucker actually knowing he's an AI, instead of blowing it out his ass, since he's been on Church's team longer and isn't an idiot like Caboose. This does make things less creepy, so I can't say I'm too disappointed on being wrong.
It affects some of the dialogue, since the Director explained their organic bodies as them being "volunteers" and they talked a bit about it, is all. Nothing major.
Yeah, I guess. And it might be possible to include in their programming to assume they were in organic bodies, since they're operating under that assumption in the thread.
Because now that we are done discussing that inconsistency, which distracted me for a while, I am back to being sad about other bits that were reported.

It was a suggestion to tag past AU for cuteness instead of sobness that you seem to have.

Anyway, I think I may do that, yes.
