Coming home for Thanksgiving was so refreshing. I spent approximately three hours just talking with my grandma and mom. It's so weird when I think about it because I can still remember clearly considering things we were talking about "adult conversation" when I was little and staying out of it and now, I'm right in the middle of it. So weird, but so nice.

Got my new phone today, since mine was up for renewal as of Thanksgiving. Upgraded to a Samsung Rogue, meaning full keyboard and touch screen, hell yeah. 8) Not that I'm going to use half the features the phone has, but I can valiantly try and pretend like I know what I'm doing when I mess with the more complex functions.

Heading back to my apartment tomorrow, where I will hopefully get some homework done. I also need to steal some turkey leftovers, since my mom made a gigantic bird, the sole reason being because she could. So much damn turkey leftover. I better go eat a sandwich now and do my part to reduce its numbers. 8|

Oooh. Well. I just said I'm going to be legally changing my name to James in the future and am already using it on things (she asked if I had Facebook and it's under that). Oh dear.

Yeah, that'd make it hard to tell her your Facebook page without dropping that bomb, unless you just want to lie and say you don't have one. :D;

I use my Facebook for the sole purpose of keeping in touch with people, so. I just told her about the name thing and she responded with 'interesting choice.' And then I texted back that I identify as both male and female and haven't got a response --

No. 'Alrighty then, I have pics of the kids on my Facebook.'

Uhhhh. Kay, then.

Maybe it'll happen like when you told her you were gay, she'll backtrack to it once she's had time to process the info.

Here's hoping. And even if she doesn't approve, it's not like it's going to effect what I identify as anyway. :p

Yeah, and I can't see her flipping out that much over it anyway. She seems like the kind of person that wants to keep her kids in her life, despite whatever might be going on with them that she doesn't approve of.

You have a 100% better chance of getting a hold of me through texting, since I never use Facebook. I tried, but then I realized that at my age, everyone uses it to give constant updates about what they're doing to make it seem like they have a life.

HOLY SHIT KIMMY HAS A FACEBOOK. WHAT. ...At least it's not MySpace, but what.

And yeah. It's weird, but she texts me from time to time to see what I'm up to.

I also figured, but I want more friends on Facebook. :(

Kimmy got a Facebook while I was home this weekend, actually. She got it so she could talk to her bestie, Sydney, who for some reason has one with 130-something friends. I don't understand why, but whatever.
